Tech Attention Monthly Subscription Terms and Conditions - These terms apply to Tech Attention Monthly Desktop Bundle, Tech Attention Monthly Mobile Bundle, Tech Attention Monthly Combo Bundle.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using any of Tech Attention's computer security package services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.

  1. Services

a. Description: Our computer security package includes antivirus software, data backup to a cloud storage server, and a remote connect client that allows us to remotely access and control your computer to address any issues you may encounter.

b. Use of Antivirus Software: The antivirus software provided as part of the package is intended for the purpose of detecting and removing known computer viruses and malware. However, no software can guarantee complete protection, and we do not guarantee that the antivirus software will be error-free or provide protection against all threats.

c. Data Backup:

We provide a data backup service that involves storing your data on a secure cloud storage server. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, it is important to note that we are not responsible for any loss, corruption, or unauthorized access to your data.

By default, our subscription includes up to 20 gigabytes of storage for data backup at no additional cost. Any data exceeding this 20GB limit will be subject to a charge of $0.05 per gigabyte. It is the user's responsibility to notify Tech Attention if they wish to extend their storage limit beyond 20GB.

Tech Attention holds no responsibility for the content of the data being backed up. Users are advised to carefully consider the nature of the data they choose to store and take necessary precautions.

Please be aware that additional charges may apply for storage usage beyond the initial 20GB, and users are encouraged to manage their storage needs accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your data backup service, please contact us for assistance.

d. Remote Connect Client:

By utilizing our remote connect client, you acknowledge and grant us permission to remotely access and control your computer for the sole purpose of diagnosing and resolving technical issues. It is essential to recognize that this form of remote access entails inherent security risks.

You understand that, once the remote connect client is installed, our technical support team may access your computer at any time with your consent. Additionally, the system allows for the capture of screenshots without requiring an active remote connection.

We emphasize the importance of safeguarding your sensitive information during and outside of remote connect sessions. While we take measures to ensure the security of your data, you are responsible for implementing necessary precautions on your end.

Your consent to remote access is vital, and we encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. By using our remote connect client, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the associated security risks. Please review our privacy policy for more information on how we handle your data.

       Pricing:

  1. Remote Connect Time: a. The first 15 minutes of remote connect support for technical assistance will be provided free of charge.

b. Any additional remote connect time beyond the initial 15 minutes will be billed at a rate of $79.95 per hour, charged in 15-minute segments.

  1. Data Restoration: a. Data restoration services for retrieving your backed-up data from the cloud storage server will be charged at a rate of $0.025 per gigabyte.

  2. Changes to Pricing: a. We reserve the right to modify our pricing for remote connect time and data restoration services at any time. Any changes to pricing will be communicated to existing customers through email or notices on our website.

b. By continuing to use our remote connect and data restoration services after being informed of any pricing changes, you agree to the updated rates.

  1. User Responsibilities

a. Proper Use: You agree to use our computer security package service in accordance with the instructions provided and for lawful purposes only. You shall not use the service to engage in any unauthorized or illegal activities.

b. User Data: You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ownership rights of any data you provide for backup purposes. You grant us the necessary permissions to perform data backup and acknowledge that we are not responsible for any loss or damage to your data.

  1. Limitation of Liability

a. Disclaimer: Our computer security package service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations regarding the effectiveness, reliability, or uninterrupted availability of the antivirus software, data backup service, or remote connect client.

b. Limitation of Liability: Tech Attention and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use our computer security package service, including but not limited to viruses, data loss, unauthorized access, or interruptions in service.

  1. Modification and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate our computer security package service at any time without prior notice. We may also modify these terms and conditions, and your continued use of our service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

  1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
